This is part II of an unofficial blouse series. Did you miss the first installment.
While surfing, I ran across the YSL Fall 2011 collection. I’m not a name brand junkie, but there are a few brands that are consistently pleasing. So many of these pieces remind me of the costumes from the 30’s through the 70’s. Watch TCM and you’ll see.
This is another blouse from my great-grandmother. As a transitional piece, this blouse is light enough for the cool nights and perfect for the fall. Wear it with jeans, or better yet, a pencil skirt.

I LOVE IT !!! Grandma Rose loved the sheer look of the material. She would wear a grey or navy blue suit and picolo shoes ( pointed toe heels ).. I especially like collar you created. Is this a 2 piece blouse ? Great job.
I tried it on with a navy pencil skirt. I loved it. It is all one piece. The collar stands out a bit more because of the deep V. The only think I removed were the buttons.
This is gorgeous! i love blouses like this, they’re so elegant, I love that shirts and blouses can be changed so much with small alterations, I’m definitely going to try this one!
By the way I like your blog! I’ve only recently started my own too! yay!
Thanks Vanessa.
