When I decluttered my closet a few months ago, I promised myself I would not add another “non-staple” item. So why am I going to clothing swaps you ask. Well, you never know what you’ll find. I donated a large bag of clothing, and came back with a few pieces I can work with.
The Scrap Exchange hosted a community event yesterday, so my sis and I headed over to see what we’d get ourselves in to. I dig everything the scrap exchange puts together. They are truly an organization that empowers locals to be creative and socially conscience at the same time.
Frantically, my sis and I searched through piles of donated clothing. No shame here people, for the low low price of $0.00, I scored a beautiful genuine leather A-line skirt, a fuuuuulllll pink skirt, 2 tops, and a sweater that will not be a sweater for long. Scissor happy me has plans to transform mostly everything I picked up. And you know I’ll share the diy love ya’ll. Watch me now!
I can’t wait to see what you do with that sweater. I also have a skirt just like your leather one, so I’m intrigued on how you transform it!
And I can’t wait to show you Carly! By the way, I’m going to try the Roasted Red Pepper recipe on your site. Looks lovely!
