Crazy girl with that loud camera thinks she’s going to make great shots. Yep yep yeppers. My new friend is old and noisy with double meaning. When focusing everyone knows I’m using a film camera, plus the ‘disturbance’ in the photos is perfect. This baby will put a Photoshop filter to shame I tell you.

These are the first roll of film from my newly acquired Konica Minolta Maxxum 7000. I’m hoping my photo-genius friends (Julia Paris and Erika Smith) will approve of my first sets. Plus, cute babies make bad photography look better. Usually.

If I could just find a silencer for this baby. No worries, I’m referring to the camera. That way, my camera and I will avoid side eyes in quiet crowds. I.e. my friend’s white coat ceremony. Imagine what that was like.

(Thank you Tameka and Debbie for the shots of me and my precious nephew. Even more thanks to Tameka and Tru for sharing him with me.)
